MidLevel Corporate/M&A Attorney Detroit

We are seeking an attorney with at least four years of relevant M&A experience to join the wellestablished Transactions Practice Group in our Detroit office. This position will involve primarily working on US and international private company M&A transactions with a focus on middle market private equity transactions. The associate would be joining a growing energetic and collaborative culture that values character work ethic and personal/professional development. Qualified candidates must have extensive M&A experience. The ideal candidate also will have sophisticated document drafting skills and the ability to manage/lead smaller M&A transactions and be the lead associate on larger M&A transactions. The candidate should be comfortable with direct interaction with senior partners specialist teams junior associates and clients. A positive attitude strong interpersonal skills and a solid work ethic are required. To be considered a candidate must hold a JD from an ABAapproved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the bar of the jurisdiction(s) where the candidate is admitted to practice. Timely admission to the Michigan Bar will be a condition of employment. Foley & Lardner has a national salary scale across all of our U.S. offices.
