Senior Java full-stack Engineer

Position Summary

As a Senior Java fullstack Engineer with CVS Health PSS IT team you will provide technical leadership to a product team with 810 engineers and work with the team to build highquality usable products to customers and stakeholders. You will help provide input to product roadmap technical design oversee engineering practices and lead product build using agile (Scrum SAFe) software development practices and create products from discovery and framing through iterative development and delivery. You will also maintain a usercentered and businessaspriority approach in design perspective and practice.

A firm understanding of Java development principles and agile methodologies is crucial for success in the role. Candidates must be able to work from office as per defined corporate guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• 8 years of experience working with enterprise solution delivery in a largescale distributed software design environment preferably in a J2EE development environment with strong leadership experience
• 4 years of experience with frontend development including Angular 8 using NgRx
• 4 years of experience implementing REST services with Java and Spring Boot
• 3 years of experience working in an Agilebased development environment and using Agile concepts such as Continuous Integration (CI/CD) and TestDriven Development (TDD)
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Capability to mentor junior and midlevel engineer resources

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with PBM business domain
• Experience in deploying to a cloud platform (Kubernetes Azure AWS etc.)

Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field preferred
• Will accept High School diploma and equivalent experience in lieu of degree (2 years of professional work experience for every year of college not completed in addition to the required years of experience)
