About the Opportunity:

Were looking for a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Fremont CA. In this exciting role youll play a pivotal role in designing deploying and optimizing InfiniBand network architectures for clien(Multinational technology company)s cuttingedge computing needs. Youll work directly with Hiring Manager to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the InfiniBand infrastructure.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven track record as a Senior Network Engineer with 5 years of experience in designing configuring and troubleshooting complex networks.
• Indepth knowledge of InfiniBand technology including network fabrics switches adapters and routing protocols.
• Expertise in data center network configurations with a solid understanding of optics fibers and related infrastructure.
• Strong scripting skills using Python for network automation tasks.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and a proactive approach to troubleshooting network issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
• A passion for continuous learning and staying uptodate with the latest advancements in InfiniBand technology.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for network automation.
• Familiarity with code repository solutions (e.g. Git).
• Knowledge of network security best practices and security protocols for InfiniBand networks.

This is a oneyear contract position with the potential for extension based on performance. Youll be responsible for the following key activities:

• Design and Deploy InfiniBand Network Architectures: Plan and implement InfiniBand network configurations tailored to clients specific highperformance computing requirements.
• Configuration and Optimization: Configure and finetune InfiniBand switches routers adapters and other hardware components to ensure peak performance and reliability.
• Network Security Implementation: Implement robust security measures to safeguard sensitive data transmitted over the InfiniBand network adhering to industry standards and clients security policies.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor network performance troubleshoot connectivity issues and maintain optimal uptime for the InfiniBand network.
• Collaboration and Integration: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to seamlessly integrate InfiniBand technology into various projects and applications providing technical expertise and guidance.
• Vendor Collaboration and Evaluation: Partner with hardware and software vendors to evaluate new InfiniBand technologies and recommend enhancements to the existing infrastructure.
• Documentation: Document network configurations procedures and troubleshooting steps to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain a comprehensive record of network operations.
