Title: Software Verification Engineer I (2 Openings) 100% Onsite
Location: St. Paul MN
Duration: 6 Months
Start Time (AM/PM): 9:00 am
End Time (AM/PM): 5:00 pm
Description
- This is a nonexempt position.
- We are seeking a highcaliber Software Verification Engineer to join our Software Verification team.
- The Software Verification Engineer will bring testing expertise to the innovative and fastpaced verification team.
- This highcaliber motivated and passionate individual will be responsible for requirements analysis test design test execution and defect issue resolution.
Responsibilities include:
- Work independently and as a team member to plan write and execute test cases according to client practices FDA regulatory and ISO standard procedures.
- Design new test suites for new features and functionality.
- Perform dry runs and formal Verification activities as required.
- Setup and configure Test Equipment.
- Record and close defects found during V&V activities.
- Perform requirements design and test reviews.
Experience and Education Required:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Electrical or Biomedical Engineering/Degree in computer science EE or Biomedical required New Grad okay with med device internship experience masters degree okay
- Knowledge of software testing.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle management tools.
- Organized ontime quick learner and detailed oriented.
- Excellent documentation skills in delivering information that adds value to managements decisionmaking process.
- Experienced in quantitative analytical organizational and followup skills.
- Polished communicator written documentation and oral presentations/ discussions/ meetings.
- Excellent reputation for building relationships across various levels of an organization.
- Energized attitude proactive thinker and selfstarter.
Experience
- 1 to 2 years of medical experience is highly preferred
- 100% manual testing configuring test equipment and managing the lab.
- EnSite X Mapping System currently used experience helpful not required
- Microsoft Office experience required
- Ability to follow SOPs
- 6week training program
- Contract to start possibility depending on business need and performance
