Role: IT Technical Business Analyst
CONTEXT:
Work must be done from within Canada due to network and data security issues.
This is a Hybrid role and the expectation is that the resource will work from the office at least 2 days per week and as required to support project needs.
Description: Our team is looking for a Technical Business Analyst who will have a thorough understanding of the entire software and product development lifecycle with various delivery methodologies/frameworks used.
Responsibilities will include:
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and conduct process walkthroughs:
Create review and update user stories and journey maps as applicable.
Create system use cases flow diagrams and interactive mockups outlining functional requirements as required.
Document and validate results with subject matter experts and drive the creation of detailed business and functional requirements specification documents.
Document the key risks mitigating controls performance measures and business continuity plans for processes.
Liaise with procurement specialists product owners business stakeholders and technical delivery teams to ensure requirements are communicated and developed as per the business needs.
Support procurement and contract specialists in the completion of solicitation and contracting documents ensuring business requirements are documented providing guidance in evaluation criteria and assisting in responding to vendor inquiries.
Coordinate and assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the developed functionality meets the business specifications.
Support the development of necessary system (nontechnical) documentation as well as make recommendations for policy and/or procedural manuals.
Support change management and training to ensure delivery of complex program changes.
Conduct postimplementation reviews assessing opportunities for backlog refinement and for continuous improvement.
Liaise with security and privacy teams to complete security threat risk assessments and privacy impact assessments as required.
