Job Title: Python Automation with Shell Scripting
Location: Bangalore

Position Description:
- Experience in developing or managing regressions and build flows.
- Expertise in Unix/Linux working environment and shell scripting (bash/tcsh).
- Experience in scripting and automation for software development or semiconductors. Expertise in one scripting language (Perl or Python).
- Experience in managing version control system such as GIT and continuous integration (such as Jenkins or Bamboo)
- Exposure to Project Management practices and Project Lifecycle Management.
- Familiar with Quality assurance (QA) best practices such as Test Plan development Testcase development unit testing and measurable execution there of
Role & Responsibilities
- The primary responsibility is to work on regressioncumautomation area to deliver highquality productrelease as per schedule.
- The role will have opportunity to contribute to several aspects of ACK release flow like Build Test Package Release Configure and Monitor. Detailed responsibilities of this role are
- Develop small scale automation scripts in Python for workflows automation.
- Passion for scripting identifying automation possibilities in existing work and releaseflows and use the engineering resources at hand to dispense the automation possibilities.
- Manage the regressions to deliver product as per the aligned qualitycriteria and timelines.
Work with the team members to create configurations for DUT - Participate in the processes to assess the quality of the codebase periodically with appropriate quality & deviationreports
- Own expectations and acceptance tests for inbound deliverables and manage challenges arising from the quality on the inbound dependencies
- Manage stakeholder and strong and continuous communication on deliveries and risks and ensure that all engineering commitments are delivered successfully.
