Job Description: Ensure adherence to established processes and standards for managing IT assets renewals and optimizing software investments across their lifecycles.
Desired Skills:
Maintain an accurate inventory of software licenses versions and deployments.
Monitor and enforce software licensing agreements ensuring compliance and addressing noncompliance issues.
Analyze software usage to identify optimization opportunities and implement strategies to reduce costs (e.g. coterming agreements).
Prepare reports and documentation related to software assets including license entitlements deployments usage and compliance status.
Identify and mitigate software asset management risks such as security vulnerabilities and unauthorized software usage.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful process deployment and address any identified gaps.
Promote version control and endofsupport awareness for applications through research and analysis.
Understanding of database normalization and relationship dependencies.
Continuously evaluate and improve software asset management processes policies and procedures.
Education Requirements: Bachelors degree
Certifications preferred: ITIL (Nice to have)
