Job Summary: The Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Analyst plays a pivotal role in conducting intricate financial assessments and modeling leading internal audit processes crafting budgets and forecasts executing costing activities and generating reports on region/business unit performance. This seniorlevel position requires adept leadership skills extensive financial expertise and a commitment to driving organizational success.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Foster selfleadership and promote a culture of learning by building robust relationships with crossfunctional stakeholders providing guidance and advice and mentoring junior team members.
- Lead businessspecific projects by applying deep subject matter expertise adhering to procedures and policies coordinating resources and solving complex problems.
- Evaluate the business environment through financial assessments interpreting data and communicating insights through comprehensive reports.
- Oversee internal audit processes review audit results engage with auditors and proactively address highrisk areas.
- Develop budgets and forecasts aligned with strategic initiatives communicate results and advise region/business unit leaders on fiscal matters.
- Conduct complex financial modeling analyze risk alternatives and make strategic recommendations based on financial impact assessments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives evaluate performance and implement enhancements to improve financial performance.
- Support field operations by analyzing operational and financial performance and recommending areas for improvement.
- Lead financial statement analysis of business partners evaluate risk implications and communicate financial viability.
- Inform and drive strategic financial planning by interpreting financial data and making recommendations for financial plans and operating forecasts.
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in a leadership role.
- Bachelors degree in finance business or related field and minimum eight (8) years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience or directly related business experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Four (4) years of experience working with advanced functions of spreadsheet software.
- Three (3) years of FP&A experience in a healthcare organization.
- Three (3) years of experience developing business cases.
- Three (3) years of experience working with advanced SQL and/or SAS coding.
- Three (3) years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g. Director level and above).
