The Desktop Engineer will help build and maintain the platform for a stable desktop environment. Work closely with all teams throughout IT to ensure initiatives coincide with the overall vision. Troubleshoot and resolve problems using problem resolution and escalation procedures using diagnostic and incident tracking tools.PRIMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES:Tier 3 support of all endpoint technologyrelated issues in coordination with IT and users as necessary.Engineer maintain and update the Firms standard desktop image and software patch management. Function as subject matter expert for all endpoint hardware Microsoft SCCM Intune Packaging tools application deployment and other enterprise platforms.Maintain Microsoft AVD and Citrix application updates and software patches.Responsible for ownership of new technology implementations including assessment identification testing deployment and documentation of standard endpoint hardware and software technologies.Track market developments and make recommendations regarding upgrades endpoint engineering and management solutions to improve efficiency.Actively monitor key metrics report on trends and make improvement recommendations.Coordinates and leads system and service maintenance activities. Performs highly complex application and service upgrades (hardware operating system software) as well as regular health checks in accordance with established corporate policies and procedures.Recommends and participates in the creation of corporate standards best practices and roadmaps for Information Technology endpoint systems services and technologies.Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced highpressured environment performing well under deadlines.Proactively identifies develops and implements automated service delivery provisioning and remediation processes that reduce or eliminate user interaction and enhance system and service reliability.Must be a teamoriented person who can share information goals opportunities successes and failures with the appropriate parties.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:5 years of Desktop Engineer experience in a Windows Network Environment.Expert in Windows management with SCCM or Intune including OS delivery policies Application packaging Software deployment and Patches deployment.Indepth knowledge of Autopilot and zerotouch deployments.Strong professional and interpersonal skills including: Creative problem solving effective written and verbal communications planned and organized coordination of crossfunctional teams and acute attention to detail.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS Registry Group Policies DHCP DNS and Active Directory is required.Working knowledge of Microsoft O365 products Chrome Citrix Remote Access VPN and AntiVirus software is required.A strong understanding of network concepts including VLANs Routing TCP/IP Load Balancing and Traffic Analysis is required.A strong understanding of security concepts including SSL PKI VPNs Firewalls DMZ and cyberattacks is required.Experience with managing MacOS and iOS devices with MDM is required.Experience with custom reporting and queries with SQL and PowerBI.Experience in Microsoft Azure environment.Experience in designing building and maintaining enterprise infrastructure systems (preferably Windows).Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and nontechnical users.
