Responsibilities

• Deliver effective Computer Science lessons to students fostering a love for the subject and promoting the development of critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
• Tailor lesson plans and assessments to meet the needs of individual students ensuring a differentiated and inclusive learning environment.
• Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources.
• Monitor and assess student progress providing feedback and support to help students achieve their full potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in curriculum development activities contributing to the ongoing improvement of the Computer Science department.
• Maintain accurate student records and attendance records adhering to school policies and procedures.
• Attend parentteacher meetings and communicate regularly with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Teaching qualification or certification (QTS PGCE etc.).
• Proven experience teaching Computer Science at the primary or secondary level.
• Indepth knowledge of the Computer Science curriculum and the ability to effectively plan and deliver engaging lessons.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students colleagues and parents/guardians.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines.
• A passion for education and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
