Job Description

Bilingual HR Specialist

Pay:$22/hr. Depending on experience

Hours:Monday Friday 8AM4:30PM

Job type:Temp to Hire

Location:Broken Arrow Oklahoma

Job Description:

The Bilingual Human Resources Specialists primary role will be to assist with employee relations & retention (morale health benefits) the hiring process (onboarding materials welcome packages training documents) payroll (timecard calculation only) disciplinary action and risk mitigation (safety coordination). Due to the small operation the HR Specialist will have free time outside of HR related tasks and thus be expected to take on a hybrid role of Receptionist/Administrative Assistant. Overall the HR Specialist will answer directly to and work closely with the President & CEO of the company.

Responsibilities:

Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resources and compliance strategies. Administers the talent acquisition process which may include recruitment and interviewing of qualified job applicants. Developing and administering training/onboarding programs. Maintains employee policy and procedure manuals. Coordinates compensation and benefits administration. Calculates employee times and handles employee sick/vacation leave. Deliver HR and Safety training as required. Develop and administer companys safety and compliance training programs. Serves as administrator of the safety management program. Investigates safety related complaints & incidences. Oversees Workers Compensation programs. Assists with employee discipline and terminations. Stays current with regulatory requirements. Answering phones and greeting foot traffic.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience in HR Field.
  • Native proficiency in both English and Spanish Human Resources and/or Compliance experience.
  • Experience in developing HR and Safety Policies & Procedures Exceptional people & communication skills.
  • Computer and basic MS Office knowledge.
