Senior Accountant AU or NZ experience

Here s an overview of your future role:

What do you need to succeed

• A degree in Accountancy or equivalent
  
• Preferably with CPA or CA qualifications
  
• At least 5 years of combined experience in local and/or Australian/New Zealand accounting and compliance
  
• 3 years of experience in Paraplanning Experience in accounting information systems (preferably Xero)
  
• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  
• Strong working knowledge of applicable NZ legislation and tax regulations
  
• Excellent accounting finance and analytical skills
  
• Proficiency in advanced MS Excel
  
• Proficiency in intermediate Power BI/Power Query/Power Automate (preferred)

• Financial statements Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial statements.
  
• Reporting and analysis Provide insights into revenue and expenses to assist the business in making decisions.
  
• Tax compliance and payroll Ensure clients meet their compliance requirements and deadlines.
  
• Administration Ensure all administrative duties are completed efficiently to ensure the Finance team has robust processes in place.
