Temp - Patient Care Tech PCT - Chronic Dialysis Days Amsterdam NY

Summary/Objective The Patient Care Technician must demonstrate familiarity with dialysis procedures and the knowledge skills and judgement necessary to assume the responsibility of caring for the dialysis patient. This position exercises knowledge of patient rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy dignity and wellbeing of all patients in a safe secure environment. Position works under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse experienced or trained in dialysis treatment. Cooperates and works together with all coworkers to plan and complete job duties with applicable clinical and supervisory direction including exercising job roleappropriate judgement.
Requirement description :

• 3 years of dialysis PCT experience REQUIRED
• Must know how to and be able to open/close the water/bicarc system REQUIRED
• Experience with FMC T machines REQUIRED
• Must have BONET or CCHT

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• BONENT
• Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician
• BLS (AHA)

Weekend Requirements : Every other Saturday
On Call Requirements : No Call
