Data Administrator MY-SQL Admin

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure MySQL database servers
• Monitor and optimize database performance
• Implement and maintain database security
• Manage database backup and recovery processes
• Create and manage database user accounts
• Develop and optimize SQL queries
• Collaborate with developers to design efficient database schemas
• Perform database capacity planning
• Troubleshoot databaserelated issues
• Document database architecture and processes
• Ensure data integrity and consistency
• Stay updated with MySQL best practices and technologies
• Provide technical support to stakeholders
• Implement and maintain database automation processes
• Participate in disaster recovery planning

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven experience as a MySQL database administrator
• Strong understanding of database management and optimization
• Proficiency in MySQL installation configuration and maintenance
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and database query optimization
• Experience in database backup and recovery procedures
• Familiarity with database security principles and best practices
• Good understanding of database performance tuning
• Ability to troubleshoot databaserelated issues
• Experience in designing and implementing database automation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
• Relevant certifications (e.g. MySQL Certified DBA) preferred
• Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and implementation
• Attention to detail and strong problemsolving abilities
