We are seeking a Senior Buyer Forgings/Castings for an leading supplier. As a Senior Buyer you will be responsible for leading supplier selection negotiation and management of automotive bearing and chassis suspension parts components and raw materials. You will also develop new supplier sourcing and relationships in North America maintain inventory levels to meet production requirements and continuously improve the purchasing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic sourcing process for Bearing and Chassis components and raw materials
• Develop and evaluate new supplier sources in North America
• Negotiate key contracts to optimize value
• Actively manage supplier relationships and performance through key performance metrics
• Ensure that the product is matched to the right supplier and ensure the supplier is effective in delivering the product in collaboration with Engineering

Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience:

• Bachelor of Arts (BA) and the Bachelor of Science (BS)
• More than 5 years of experience working in the automotive maker or automotive industry with equivalent background and knowledge
• Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects with various stakeholders
