Overview:

Our client is looking to add a Senior Electrical Engineer to the design team in Evansville IN. We are looking for someone to join a team of architects engineers planners and interior designers who thrive on working together to create holistic designs for our workplace education community and healthcare clients.

The position is a seniorlevel engineerrequiring project design and management staff oversight and clientcultivation.

Requirements:

• 7 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
• Must have knowledge of AutoCAD (Revit) and other engineering software as well
• Power distribution design
• Electrical equipment specification.
  
• Low voltage cabling system experience
• Building Fire Alarms & Security Systems for commercial use specifically in healthcare
• Preparation of written scopes of work for project bidding.
  
• Project engineering budgeting/total installed cost estimation
• Good communication skills both oral and written are required.
  
• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar degree or 11 years of work experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a technical leader and support the project manager for all electrical design aspects of projects.
• Design electrical systems for projects which may include new facilities or improvements to existing facilities.
• Develop detailed electrical plans electrical system studies and calculations (load voltage drop lighting coordination arcflash metering data analysis) for device specification and equipment sizing.
• Develop and manage scope schedule and budgets for projects in addition to acting as the pointofcontact for many clients regarding design work.
• Collaborate with multidisciplined teams that may consist of civil engineers technicians and other specialists.
• Perform QA/QC on electrical engineering projects.
• Staying up to date with relevant industry codes and standards.
• Providing technical support guidance and mentorship to junior staff
