Our client a prestigious law firm located in the Tampa area is seeking a highly skilled SeniorLevel Tax Lawyer to join their team. Renowned for their expertise in corporate transactions mergers and acquisitions and executive compensation matters this firm offers an exceptional opportunity for career growth and professional development.

Position Overview: As a SeniorLevel Tax Lawyer you will play a pivotal role in advising clients on complex tax concerns related to corporate transactions M&A activities and executive compensation arrangements. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of tax law principles and demonstrate a track record of success in structuring transactions to optimize tax efficiency.


  • Provide expert guidance on tax implications and strategies in corporate transactions M&A deals and executive compensation matters.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to structure deals in a taxefficient manner ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and minimizing tax liabilities.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of tax laws regulations and rulings to inform strategic decisionmaking and mitigate risk.
  • Draft and review legal documents including transaction agreements tax opinions and regulatory filings with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service proactive communication and strategic counsel.
  • Stay abreast of emerging tax trends legislative developments and industry best practices to provide innovative solutions to clients.


Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for reciprocity.
  • 5 years of experience practicing tax law with a focus on corporate transactions M&A and executive compensation.
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent writing skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing complex tax issues and crafting innovative solutions.
  • Portable business or demonstrated ability to develop a client base is preferred but not required.
