Sr Database Administrator

Additional information: The candidate should be able to provide an ID if the interview is requested. The candidate interviewing must be the same individual who will be assigned to work with our client.

Requirements:

Availability to work 100% at the Clients site in Ocoee FL (required);
Experience working with various database management systems (3 years);
Experience s in database design testing implementation maintenance and administration in a multiple platform environment (3 years)
Preferred:
Government or transportation experience

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Manages and maintains all production and nonproduction databases;
Responsible for standards and design of physical data storage maintenance access and security administration;
Performs backup and recovery on Database Management Systems configures database parameters and prototype designs against logical data models defines data repository requirements data dictionaries and warehousing requirements;
Optimizes database access and allocates/reallocates database resources for optimum configuration database performance and cost.
