DHHS is seeking a Testing Specialist to do various levels of Testing ona modernization project for Division of Child Development and Early Education. DCDEE has and usesmultiple systems to support Early Education Branch workforceand Regulatory Services Section that needs to be upgraded and modernized. This development effort will start in Marchand is expected to last for a year. Howeverthe current contract will be for a period of 6.5 months ending on September 30th2024.
The ideal candidate must have experience with interpretingbusiness requirements/user stories to create allinclusive test case scenarioscreate test cases to meet functional integration system regression andperformance test phases and document test case results.
Candidate should have hands on experience working in anAgile development environment and is required to conduct various levels ofmanual and automation testing for this project.
This position is responsible for the following activitiesrelated to a critical system being developed inhouse at the State:
Work with 3rdparty vendor to createperformance test plans
Coordinate test personnel resources and ensure completionof scheduled tests
Provide guidelines reviews and support todevelopers and business analysts by creating functional tests to test applications.
Develop Test cases per the Business Rules toperform or provide direction to others on testing requirements.
Perform testing activities including testplanning UI automation integration testing functional testing Regressiontesting and UAT testing.
Facilitate record and capture information fromdemos and user experience sessions.
Ensure that requirements and deliverables areverified and validated at each testing phase and final acceptance.
Prepare test protocols and reports which meetregulatory requirements during the final test cycle.
Help keep test processes streamlined for efficiency.
Use Microsoft office tools for testingactivities and communications with team members and management.
RequiredSkills:
Experience assessing the testability ofrequirements and developing test cases based on Business Requirements andSoftware Design Documents.
Experience in the execution of test planning UIautomation integration testing functional testing integration testingregression testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) testing
Experience developing SQL queries.
Experience in Azure DevOps
Loggings defects retesting defects and closingdefects within Azure DevOps.
Experience in the review analysis and reportingof test results.
Experience with Test and Defect ManagementTools. Client ALM JIRA preferred.
Experience on testing web applications
Experience with Cloud testing
Must be an excellent team player and be able toprioritize concurrent deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively and be ableto work independently with minimal supervision.
Knowledgeof Agile Methodology and Agile testing
Preferred Skills/Qualification:
Hands on experience in test automation/test automationtools
Strong knowledge of security penetration load andperformance testing
Good to have State experience
