Registered Nurse - OR Med Surg

Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our OR and Med Surg department in Northern Ontario.

You will work in the OR (scrub/circulating nurse) with some shifts in other department to cover the FT commitment. OR comes with oncall off hours (weekend evening and nights).

You need to have access to a car; her accommodation will not be at a walkable distance from the hospital. Can you look at this and get back to me as soon as possible please.

Qualifications:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the College of Registered Nurses Ontario
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in OR and Med Surg preferably in a hospital setting.
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred FHS (Fetal Health Surveillance) preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and decisionmaking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse healthcare team members and communicate compassionately with patients and families.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and evidencebased practice.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in patient care.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other healthcare technology.
