Event Manager part-time

42 Wolfsburg is a higher education NGO/startup educating up to 600 students to become cuttingedge techies and software engineers in a practicebased peerlearning environment. 42 Wolfsburg is based on the internationally successful concept of Ecole 42 which was founded 2013 in Paris and today trains 18000 students in 54 schools all over the world. Tasks

As Event Manager you will ensure that our teams can deliver great event content for our students and partners. On top of that youll own your own events.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Coordinating events on site incl. space bookings calendaring event announcements
• Providing event support for all teams incl. event project management subcontractor coordination and handson event implementation
• Leading Event Standardisation and Quality Management
• Owning planning and carrying out 12 main school events per year
• Owning planning and carrying out team events such as offsites or fun activities.

Musthave:

• Right to live and work in Germany
• Strong identification with the mission of 42
• Some event management or gastronomy experience
• Very good English skills (spoken and written) to communicate with the team and our students
• Willingness to work on our Campus in Wolfsburg
• Flexibility regarding working hours during events (events usually take place MoFri but might take place outside 95).

Nicetohave:

• Some German language skills to work with subcontractors and external service providers.
