Job Role: SAP MM Lead Consultant

Experience: Lead (11 Years) Mandatory Skills: SAP MM

Location: Bangalore Work mode: Work from office

Budget: Lead(30 LPA) Education: Graduate/BE/B Tech/MCA

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • High level of expertise on SAP MM.
  • On demand support to Global Business Process and Operational Divisions Teams as well as partners in charge of administration of data centers (database administration upgrades performance).
  • Accountable for Solution issues escalated to the Global Support team. Ensure that tickets are properly responded to fixed tested and followsup those until they are properly closed according to process defined. Support provided is functional (analysis feedback recommendation).
  • Analyze content of releases on his/her area and recommend best organization as far as testing is concerned.
  • Liaise with regional / local support teams and testing factory to ensure that release validation process is done properly.
  • Analyze challenge validate recommendations and actions of on his/her area
  • Liaise with Global Data Excellence and Business Process Leaders organization regarding problem solving and enhancement
  • Contribute review and validate Core bugs & enhancements specification. Contribute to testing and validation.
  • SAP and functional knowledge on Supply Chain and Manufacturing Processes.

Technology Skills:

  • 10 years of SAP experience as consultant with complex and multiple projects (Core template design / build / validation rollout and support) in the area of SAP Materials Management (MM).
  • SAP HANA experience added advantage.
  • High level of expertise on SAP MM modules.
  • The resource should have at least years of SAP MM Experience and good experience in Procurement or Inventory Domain.
  • Should be able to handle MM/WM independently and will be working with the Business directly.
  • Should have good experience in Taxation.
  • Should have knowledge in GST implementation.
  • Operational business experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar role within an international context (multienvironments multiple teams concurrent deployment project).
  • Domain experience in procurement is an added advantage.
  • Very good knowledge of SAP functional (processes available functionalities) and technical background (customizing environment transport orders) different stages of projects (run deployments testing) as well as project management skills (planning followup team work multiple teams interaction.
  • MM Expert and understand PP/QMWM Plant Maintenance is a must.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to tailor communication to the intended audience (excellent English is a must).
  • Team player and networking (colleagues as well as external partners).
  • Capacity to challenge requirement as well as capacity to show added value in relationship.

Responsibilities as a Lead:

  • Technical Exposure: MM Expert and understand PP/QM WM Plant Maintenance modules. Know Basic concepts of RICEF objects should be able to explain technical details and have Knowledge of Integration between Functional modules.
  • Communication and Solution Provision: Effectively communicate and provide appropriate solutions to business and conveying solution feasibility and any limitations in achieving objectives smoothly.
  • Team Management: Assess the capabilities of the team and distribute work accordingly identifying strengths and weaknesses to groom team members appropriately.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Establish a knowledge center through regular knowledgesharing sessions fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
  • Enforcement of Best Practices: Enforce SAP Best Practices rigorously to ensure consistency and efficiency in development processes.
  • Daily Scrum Calls: Conduct daily scrum calls to coordinate activities address challenges and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Pipeline Planning: Plan the CHR/work pipeline ahead of time every week to optimize productivity and resource allocation.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide soft escalation to stakeholders on dependencies and productivity maintaining transparent and proactive communication channels.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and ensure highquality deliverables from each member of the team maintaining standards of excellence in all project outputs.
  • Team Availability: Monitor and ensure the availability of team members during work hours optimizing resource utilization and project timelines.
  • Status Reporting: Regularly update the status tracker and prepare governance decks with accurate status updates presenting them to stakeholders on a weekly basis.
  • SLA Adherence: Strictly adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) ensuring timely and quality delivery of projects as per client requirements.
