Plant Manager

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and goaloriented Plant Manager for our cement plant in North Bay ON. As our Plant Manager you will play a pivotal role in steering our plant operations towards excellence ensuring we meet our commitments to quality efficiency and sustainability.

Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package. Specific details will be discussed during the hiring process.

Shift Schedule: This is a fulltime position. Work hours and shifts may vary depending on plant operational needs. Occasional travel (twice a month) to Manitoulin is required.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daytoday operations of the cement plant.
  
• Collaborate closely with employees to foster a cohesive and productive work environment.
  
• Conduct performance reviews and monitor employee performance.
  
• Establish and track key performance indicators for inventory management maintenance quality and financial performance.
  
• Coordinate implement and maintain safe work practices across the plant.
  
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and problemsolving efforts.
  

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated leadership skills with a motivational and resultsdriven approach.
  
• Strong problemsolving and analytical skills with a proactive mindset for finding solutions.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel Word and PowerPoint.
  
• Postsecondary degree/diploma in construction management engineering or business.
  
• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a heavy industrial domain preferably in the ready mix industry or a comparable plant environment.
  

Physical Work Demands (Optional):

• Ability to work in a plant environment involving standing walking and lifting as needed.

• The role is based in a dynamic and fastpaced cement plant environment requiring adaptability and commitment to safety standards.
