RN MedSurg Ortho 5S - Nights

Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for an RN Medical/Surgical. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Nashua NH 03060

Assignment Start Date: 3/25/2024

13 weeks Nights 12hour shift 36 hours per week guaranteed

The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team who is responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas. The RN will be required to assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history current medical status vital signs lab work xrays and another diagnostic test. They will be involved in the planning and implementation of a written care plan under the direction of a Physician.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• 3 years of previous nursing experience is preferred
• Medical terminology required

Education:

• Bachelors degree is required

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• Must have current NH State RN license
• NIHSS is recommended
• BLS/BCLS and ACLS required
• Must possess a valid State of New Hampshire RN license

EMR System: EPIC experience preferred

Shift: 7p7a(every other weekend required); holiday availability is required

Float Requirement: As part of the float pool the expectation will be to go to 3N (progressive Care) 3S (neuro med/surg) 5S (Orthopedic med/surg) ICU for boarding (progressive care or MS patients) and the ER for boarding admissions. Holiday availability is required

Scrubs Requirement: navy blue scrubs

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills

**Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid **The Client has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13week contract
