Sr Tax Analyst - I Assistant

Location: Rahway NJ 07065

Schedule: Mon Fri (9am to 2pm) (20 Hours per week flexible timings)

Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Processing all tax payments including checks EFTs and wire transfers Indirect Tax funding requests and payment of monthly processing fees.
• Maintaining all records related to tax payments and providing support for quarterly internal and external audit reviews.
• Process all tax returns for mailing and efilings. Assist with state tax efilings and maintain all electronic files related to tax returns to ensure files contain audit ready documentation.
• Handling all administrative duties to support the Tax Operations Group including collecting and sorting the mail updating our mail log as well as other general administrative tasks. 5. Providing support as needed for sales and use tax audits including pulling invoices from SAP making copies and accessing records from archives.

• Bachelors
• Years of experience : 23
• Required Experience and Skills:
• Excellent organization and planning skills
• Attention to detail ability to multitask be a problem solver
• Ability to interface with personnel at all levels across the Company and with consultants.
• Commitment to meet deadlines.
• Ability to learn new software quickly.
• Experience in Microsoft Office applications including SharePoint.
• Comfortable with ERP payment processing.
• Exp. Large Tax or Finance Dept. Preferred Experience and Skills:
• Prior experience in a corporate tax compliance function
• Experience with SAP Corptax
