Job Description
Overview:
The Lead Java Developer plays a crucial role within our organization responsible for leading a team of Java developers and ensuring the successful delivery of highquality scalable and efficient software solutions. This role is vital in driving the technical direction design and development of our Javabased applications contributing to the overall success of our projects and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Java developers providing technical guidance and expertise
- Design develop and implement highquality scalable and maintainable Java applications
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle focusing on coding and debugging
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks
- Implement and adhere to Agile software development methodologies
- Contribute to architectural and design decisions
- Stay current with the latest industry trends technologies and best practices
- Troubleshoot debug and resolve technical issues
- Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure the quality of deliverables
- Effectively communicate technical concepts to team members and stakeholders
- Provide technical leadership and support during the entire development lifecycle
- Participate in sprint planning estimation and delivery activities
- Drive continuous improvement through process enhancements and innovation
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in a lead/senior Java developer role
- Extensive handson experience with Java development and related technologies
- Strong understanding of the Spring framework and related modules
- Proficiency in web development using Javabased technologies
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical challenges
- Indepth knowledge of objectoriented design principles and patterns
- Solid understanding of database technologies and SQL
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment
- Proven track record of delivering highquality software solutions
- Experience with cloud platforms and microservices architecture is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) are desirable
