Project Engineering Specialist

YourTasks • Review and analyze the engineeringspecifications, design reports, data sheets in line with projectspecific requirements ensuring compliance with COMPANYpolicies. • Coordinate engineering activities fortender preparation by participating in specification / ITTdevelopment, bid evaluation, contractor selection identificationand sourcing of long lead equipment and review of project documentsprepared by Contractor. • Provide technicalsupport during the planning and execution stages of the projectWorking with the Engineering group and interfacing with other teamsto ensure project requirements are met and delivered ontime. • Coordinate the different aspects ofengineering and design in support of the project objectives as wellas provides transition bridging between various project stages suchas engineering and procurement to construction to completion tostart up. Monitor progress in assigned areas and scopes and takesnecessary actions to ensure timely completion of themilestones / deliverables. • Provide timely reviewof contractor’s documents / deliverables ensuring projectdeliverables are achieved in accordance with the projectmilestones, budget, and technicalrequirements. • Evaluate the performance ofcontractors throughout the project life cycle. and guide thecontractors to ensure compliance with the use of design codes,Global Practices and other business standard guidelines andrelevant policies, processes, andprocedures. • Facilitate capturing andcommunicating lessons learned for the project and ensuring thatlessons learned are considered in all phases of theproject. • Attend the project main reviewsincluding project risk sessions such as What-If, HAZID, HAZOP,Model Reviews, Constructability Reviews, SIMOPS and work as focalpoint to close out the actions. • Provide supportat project sites (brownfield) during the project phases to achieveall project targets with flawless execution in timelymanner. • Ensure all aspects covered in thebrownfield toolkit are properly evaluated andimplemented. • Liaise with existing plantOperations / maintenance and Operations Expansion & Startupteam to review the project deliverables and tasks and to performthe project activities in the running plant facilities withoutcompromising the Plant Safety andreliability
