Role Description
This is a fulltime onsite role for a Wordpress Developer at WHY Global Services located in Egmore. The Wordpress developer will be responsible for backend and frontend web development responsive web design web design web development and creating endtoend solutions for clients based on their business goals and needs.

Responsibilities:

Designing and implementing new features and functionality for WordPressbased websites.
including modification and customization of existing themes and plugins as needed.
Ensuring highperformance and availability of websites optimizing code and server configurations for speed and efficiency.
Collaborating with designers other developers and project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Troubleshooting and debugging issues with WordPress sites including compatibility issues with plugins
Performing website updates and maintenance tasks including backups security monitoring and performance optimization.
Staying uptodate with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development and web development in general.
Qualifications:

Proficiency in WordPress development including strong knowledge of PHP HTML CSS JavaScript and MySQL.
Familiarity with frontend development frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
Understanding of web standards accessibility and best practices for SEO.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering highquality work.
Experience with version control systems such as Git is a plus.
Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
