Group Accounting and Performance Management Team is looking for a IFRS Compliance and Reporting Specialist

This is a global role with potential for mobility to other locations of the Group.

  • As an IFRS Compliance and Reporting Specialist you are a key member of the Group Finance team based in India Mumbai Thane. The IFRS Compliance and Reporting team is located in Luxembourg. You will work on the analysis of accounting compliance and advisory support for various transactions across Group with full exposure to operating units segments and corporate departments. You will also be involved in the preparation of the quarterly semiannual and annual consolidated financial information for dual listing in the U.S. and in Luxembourg.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Participate to the coordination of regulatory filings (20F with SEC and the annual report / HY report with CSSF)
    • Participate in the annual update of MAP (Companys accounting policies) and release specific guidelines when required (Accounting alerts Accounting updates)
    • Followup on IFRS developments and anticipate the consequences for the Company through specific adoption projects and trainings as required
    • Provide accounting guidance for critical transactions upon request from units segments or other corporate departments in different areas (M&A legal reorganizations financial instruments and hedging leasing impairment tax accounting ) and discuss with auditors
    • Participate to the yearly annual goodwill impairment test process
    • Participate to valuation work within the group including purchase price allocations
    • Review timely completion of statutory accounts of subsidiaries and interact with local auditors to solve potential local gaap issues

    Education:

    • Master in Finance / Accounting
    • ACCA qualification desirable

    Skills & Specifications:

    • Up to date knowledge of IFRS (ACCA qualified)
    • Must be able to demonstrate that he/she can work independently but also work as part of a team. Must be selfmotivated well organized and a demonstrated problem solver.
    • Ability to work under time pressure strong analytical skills and ability to conceptualize

    Work experience requirements:

    • 510 years of accounting experience with IFRS standard required (to be demonstrated during the interview) ; audit background and/or consolidation are a plus.

    Languages:

    • Fluency in English
