Randstad Client in DC is seeking a seasoned Senior IT Application Solution Architect to join their team. In this role you will collaborate within project teams providing pivotal leadership to define architecture programs aligning with Amtraks Business Strategy. Your responsibilities will encompass guiding the development of futurestate architecture ensuring its seamless integration and serving as a visionary across all business domains.

As a Senior Solution Architect you will strategize build consensus and execute solutions engaging in all phases of project lifecycle from initiation to implementation. Your expertise will ensure applications and servers adhere to best practices fostering reusability and alignment with business objectives. Additionally you will actively challenge conventional methods advocating for innovative approaches and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define architecture programs supporting Amtraks Business Strategy
• Guide development of futurestate architecture ensuring effective adoption
• Act as a visionary across all business areas defining direction for future projects
• Develop strategies build consensus and execute solutions
• Engage in all aspects of project lifecycle from kickoff to implementation
• Present formal Conceptual and Solution Architectures to senior stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree specialized training or equivalent work experience
• 815 years of experience in multiple IT areas with 57 years in technology architecture
• Handson experience with Network Access Control (NAC) Cisco ISE and Cisco DNA
• Proficiency in architectural modeling serviceoriented architecture and enterprise information management
• Experience in design and implementation of SOA and Services in an enterprise setting
• Preferred: Transportation Industry experience broad IT networking technologies knowledge familiarity with EA frameworks
