Real World Evidence Strategic Engagement

We are seeking an experienced professional with excellent communication skills to join the real world evidence team at Gilead Sciences. The successful candidate will have a background in healthcare and a strong understanding of observational research and real world data. Experience in drug development is a plus. This role will support internal engagement with both global and affiliate teams to elevate the scientific quality of observational research.

Key Responsibilities Support integrated evidence planning in early phase development (development of playbook (IEP execution team) training (IEP development & refresh))
Support RWE Communications and materials
Collaborate with cross functional teams; within global and across affiliate countries/regions to identify and prioritize gaps in the execution of observational research
Facilitate communication of observational research processes across global and affiliate stakeholders
Lead presentations to stakeholders regarding RWE infrastructure tools and data sources
Support internships for masters students in the UK and US
Actively adapt and adjust priorities to ensure timely and quality completion of assigned tasks
Perform other related duties as required by the Department.
Skill Set Proficient in observational study design and methods
Familiarity with real world data source: US
Ability to effectively communicate scientific concepts to cross functional teams
Strong presentation skills
Experience Graduate degree in Social Science with at least two years of experience in real world evidence

Graduate degree and (5) years experience in real world evidence
