Mandatory Skills

Execute test plans scenarios scripts or procedures.
Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
Document software defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software developers.
Identify analyze and document problems with program function output online screen or content.
Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
Communicate with other departments such as project management and engineering to coordinate scheduled tests Create and maintain libraries of known defects.
Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
Work together with a Quality Assurance (QA) team to assess product problems and brainstorm solutions

Verbal and written communication skills problem solving skills customer service and interpersonal skills.

Basic ability to work independently and manage ones time.

Basic knowledge of design techniques tools and principals involved in production of precision technical plans blueprints drawings and models.

Basic knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.

Basic knowledge of computer development software such as Microsoft Visual Basic Linux JavaScript etc.

Bachelors degree in a technical field such as computer science computer engineering or related field required

As a SDET you will test software applications and features using test suites and scripts perform anomaly reporting software analysis develop automated software test packages using various technologies perform functional and performance testing
Coordinate with Product Management and user experience teams on new feature releases to maintain efficacy of product demonstrations.
Participate and provide input on feature/story requirements design estimation and test
approach discussions.
Own the creation and ongoing maintenance of test artifacts.
Collaborate with the development team and business partners to ensure the scope of tests is comprehensive and to mitigate defects prior to testing.
Help create test data sets which fully exercise data validation and endtoend system
functionality.
Identify potential impact areas to existing downstream functionality presenting risks when appropriate.
Experienced with identifying defects and overall defect management using QA tools.
