We provide a friendly relaxed safe and secure environment for babies and children. We offer a child centred approach where children are encouraged to develop their individuality creativity independence and selfconfidence to their full potentials led by caring practitioners. Your role will be to support the children to feel positive in all areas of their lives and learning.

Tasks

We offer flexible working hours from 25hour up 40 hours a week. The salary is pro rata.

  • To contribute to a planned programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in conjunction with other staff;
  • To keep a proper record of key children via the nursery app and in note journal where necessary such as for send children
  • Work alongside parents/carers of special needs children to provide full integration in the Setting;
  • Support all staff and uphold standards within the Setting by adhering to all policies and procedures;
  • Strive to safeguard children by working to the organisations safeguarding Code of Conduct;
  • Liaise with and support parents/carers and other family members;
  • To attend ALL out of working hours activities e.g. training monthly staff meetings parents/carers evenings Christmas party etc;To be flexible within working practices of Setting.

Requirements

Minimum of Level 3 qualification that is full and relevant.

  • . Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in working in a day nursery.
  • . Excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and current Ofsted statutory guidance. Knowledge and proven practical experience of implementing good quality learning opportunities.

Empathy and understanding of children under from 0five.

Excellent verbal and communication skills with children and parents.

Ability to write reports and keep clear and accurate records.

Excellent organizational skills Administrative and basic IT skills .

Calm and caring nature reliable and time conscious.

Ability to work as part of a team. Able to work on own initiative.
