Job Title: Assembler/Tester Sr

Location: Irvine CA

Shift: 2nd shift (2:30pm 11:00pm)

Pay Rate Range: $28.50 $29.50 per hour

Job Type: Temp to hire

About Us: We are a leading manufacturing company based in Irvine CA specializing in the assembly and testing of complex mechanical products. Our dedication to quality and ontime delivery sets us apart in the industry. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Assembler/Tester Sr to join our team.

Job Description: As an Assembler/Tester Sr you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently assembling and testing a variety of moderately complex mechanical products. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude and prior experience in automotive assembly or a similar field. The ideal candidate will be detailoriented able to work effectively in a team environment and committed to meeting quality and productivity goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly and testing of mechanical products according to established procedures and specifications.
  • Conduct lock wiring first stage subassembly and final detailing functions as needed.
  • Work on products containing mechanical components single hydraulic systems and multiple part numbers.
  • Contribute to lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Demonstrate strong mechanical reasoning and the ability to apply lean principles effectively.
  • Interpret blueprints route sheets and test specifications accurately.
  • Utilize basic mathematical calculations and demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and quality standards.
  • Use standard business software applications and specialized automated systems as required.

Requirements:

  • 57 years or more of industryrelated experience in assembly in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated product and process knowledge with the ability to apply it to newly learned techniques.
  • Proficiency in selecting appropriate procedures techniques tools and equipment for assembly and testing.
  • Strong mechanical reasoning skills and the ability to interpret reports and blueprints.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use standard business software applications.
  • Soldering certification may be required per customer requirements.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35lbs.
