Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our software development projects with a focus on financial systems including automated billing and global payroll management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the software development lifecycle project management and extensive experience in managing projects related to financial software solutions. This role requires an understanding of global financial processes and regulations as well as the ability to manage and integrate complex billing and payroll systems into our software projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of software development projects with a focus on automated billing and global payroll systems.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope goals and deliverables specifically related to financial software systems.
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements ensuring alignment with financial process automation and compliance.
  • Develop fullscale project plans that include milestones related to the implementation of billing and payroll systems.
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff with a focus on crossfunctional teams that include financial software experts.
  • Manage project budget and resource allocation with a keen understanding of financial software costs and efficiencies.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines incorporating the integration of financial systems.
  • Provide direction and support to the project team with specific guidance on financial software integration.
  • Ensure quality assurance of financial software implementations.
  • Constantly monitor and report on the progress of the project including financial software milestones to all stakeholders.
  • Present reports defining project progress problems and solutions with a focus on financial systems.
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs especially related to automated billing and global payroll.
  • Conduct project evaluations and assessment of results with an emphasis on financial system integrations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in software development project management with specific experience in financial systems automated billing and global payroll projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of both traditional and agile project management principles and practices with the ability to apply them to financial software development projects.
  • Experience with software development methodologies and financial software systems.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools including those specific to financial process management.
  • Strong leadership decisionmaking and problemsolving skills with specific expertise in financial software challenges.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with experience in managing global teams and vendors.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced multiproject environment with a focus on financial software integrations.
  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus especially with a background in financial software projects.

Skills:

  • Critical thinking and problem solving with a focus on financial software systems.
  • Excellent decisionmaking and leadership capabilities especially in financial project contexts.
  • Contract negotiation and conflict resolution experience with an understanding of global financial regulations.
  • Adaptability particularly in rapidly changing financial software landscapes.
  • Ability to tolerate stress in highstakes financial project environments.
