Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager specializing in Retail Assortment Planning to join our team in Atlanta. As a Product Manager you will play a crucial role in leading the development teams and managing business expectations to deliver innovative solutions for our retail assortment planning needs. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of retail operations excellent communication skills and a proven track record of driving product success.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Leadership: Lead the product development process from conception to launch ensuring alignment with the companys strategic objectives and customer needs.
Retail Assortment Planning Expertise: Leverage your expertise in retail assortment planning to develop innovative solutions that optimize product assortment inventory levels and merchandising strategies.
Team Management: Manage and mentor crossfunctional development teams including engineers designers and analysts to ensure timely delivery of highquality products.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders including retail operations merchandising and sales teams to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable product features.
Roadmap Planning: Develop and maintain the product roadmap prioritizing features based on business value customer impact and technical feasibility.
Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends competitive landscape and emerging technologies in retail assortment planning to inform product strategy and drive innovation.
CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including engineering design marketing and sales to ensure successful product launches and adoption.
Performance Tracking: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of product initiatives and iterate based on feedback and data insights.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Computer Science Engineering or related field; MBA or
advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management with a focus on retail
assortment planning or related areas.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software products in an agile
environment.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and
collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate crossfunctional teams.
Experience working in a hybrid work environment is a plus.
