Founding Engineer - Backend

• Architect design and implement scalable and reliable backend systems for a comprehensive videosharing platform.
• Develop and integrate monetization features including adserving mechanisms payment gateways and revenue tracking.
• Implement ecommerce functionalities for inapp purchases merchandise sales and related transactions.
• Integrate live streaming capabilities collaborating with video processing and realtime features teams.
• Design and implement subscriptionbased video streaming features including user authentication content access control and billing.
• Collaborate with frontend and other teams to define and implement data models API contracts and system architecture.
• Ensure the security and performance of the backend systems implementing best practices for data protection and optimization.
• Work closely with the product team to understand requirements and contribute to the overall product roadmap.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality through best practices and coding standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as the team grows.

• 3 years of experience in backend development with relevant languages like Python Go or Node.js.
• Proven experience as a backend developer with expertise in Node.js Express.js and a relational database (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL).
• Experience with implementing monetization features payment gateways and ecommerce functionalities.
• Familiarity with live streaming technologies and subscriptionbased video streaming.
• Experience with cloud services (e.g. AWS Google Cloud) and understanding of serverless architecture.
• Familiarity with video processing tools like FFmpeg and video storage solutions.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms including OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to work in a dynamic startup environment and contribute to decisionmaking processes.
• Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
