POSITION SUMMARY

The purpose of the job is to lead and execute the business strategy of migration/transition of finance and accounting processes from different FILINVEST hotels/properties to HERC F & A team to achieve operational and cost efficiencies including process standardization and automation initiatives.

SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

MEETS & EXCEEDS CUSTOMERS & TEAM MEMBERS EXPECTATIONS

  1. Achieve migration/transition timeline and schedule of finance and accounting processes from approved scope as well as operational and cost efficiency targets.
  2. Conduct analysis of existing finance and accounting processes to identify additional opportunities for migration/transition and improvement.
  3. Develop comprehensive migration/transition plan including timelines resources risk assessment and communication strategies.
  4. Lead the execution of process migration/transition ensuring adherence to timelines business controls policies and procedures and budgets.
  5. Work with various stakeholders to gather requirements for migration and address any challenges or obstacles.
  6. Create detailed documentation of existing processes including workflows standard operating procedures and training materials and update for migration/transitionreadiness.
  7. Provide training and support to endusers to ensure successful adoption of migrated processes and systems.
  8. Develop service level agreements (SLAs) metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of training work shadowing and measure performance Post GoLive.
  9. Conduct Post GoLive Reviews to monitor the success of migration/transition to shared service team.
  10. Publish SLAs metrics & KPIs of HERC Finance & Accounting Team Post GoLive.
  11. Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness postmigration.

COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Strong project management skills including the ability to prioritize tasks manage resources and mitigate risks.
  • Proficiency in process mapping flowcharting tools including Visio or equivalent
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE

EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT

  • BS ACCOUNTANCY or ACCOUNTING MAJOR

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years prior Supervisory experience of at least 2 staff
  • Experience in process migration business process reengineering or systems implementation.
  • Knowledge in using an ERP system (SAP Oracle) or any accounting system for medium to largesized company (Net Suite Navision Business Central IFCA)
  • Experience in external audit or local statutory reporting requirements (BIR SEC local govt)
  • Experience working with crossfunctional teams in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of industry best practices in process improvement (LEAN SIGMA) change management and IT automation.
  • Experience with a BPO/shared service organization is preferred.

LICENCES OR CERTIFICATES

Preferably a Certified Public Accountant.
