Job Description

Tasks

The Safeguarding Coordinator is a vital Touchstonewide role providing specialist advice and guidance to Touchstone managers and staff whilst providing best practice information sharing across relevant boards and with Touchstones stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to consolidate the development of robust supporting reporting and reflection systems around safeguarding and to maximise their efficiency and effectiveness.

The Safeguarding Coordinator is line managed by the Operations Director for Inclusion based at our head office in Leeds. The post holder will on occasion be required to travel across the district to meet with service managers and provide specialist training to staff.

Requirements

Applicants are required to have experience of specialist safeguarding work either in a professional capacity e.g. as a nurse or social worker or through work in domestic abuse education settings or early help hubs.
