TS CLEARANCE IS A MUST IN ORDER TO APPLY!
Come join a leading DC area based Audiovisual Integrator catering to the DOD and active Top Secret Clearance is required. This is a fulltime W2 position with excellent benefits located at Fort Belvoirs Space Force Center. A lot of rackbuilding and installations not just service. Crestron Planar for Video Walls Biamp AKG Qsys for everything from Auditoriums Huddle Rooms Network Operation Centers Waiting Rooms and Command & Control Centers. Max travel is only 10%. Our client just renewed their 3 year contract for this site.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- TS Clearance is a must
- Minimum of 3 years installing audiovisual equipment including video panels speakers racking microphones A/V cabling and wiring.
- Must have experience working on audiovisual systems such as Crestron Extron Biamp AKG Planar and QSC.
- Experience mounting displays & installing and networking distributed audio & control systems and strong understanding of signal flow
- Installed in Auditoriums Huddle Rooms Network Operation Centers Waiting Rooms and Command & Control Centers
- The ability to lift 5060 lbs. climb crawl and raise items overhead.
- Must have strong handson cabling / prewire experience
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must have a clean driving record & be punctual
- Willingness to travel up to 10 %.
- With a clean criminal record
- Nice to have:
- InfoComm CTS Certification preferred. Any other key industry certifications are a plus(Creston Extron Biamp AKG QSys).

Requirements: University graduate or equivalent experience with further studies in AV installation, data or voice communications, or drafting. Minimum of 4 years' experience in an electrical and/or communications environment. Understanding of project management practices and customer service obligations. Knowledge of electrical, electronic, communications, and computer products and equipment. Proficiency in oral and written English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Familiarity with building construction and blueprint reading. Experience with the AV Commercial Integrator Navigate system, specifically for change orders and delay notices feedback to the Project Manager. CTS-I Certification Preferred
