Production Operator II

Job Description:

• Level II: 35 years.
• Responsible for performing manual and machine supported tasks to fill inspect assemble cap freeze label and/or package PPG and/or nonPPG products.
• Manually fills and/or operates filling equipment for type of product and sizes of containers specified.
• Assembles components in proper sequence using appropriate devices/equipment.
• Visually inspects assemblies/mix freeze for proper fit of components operates test jigs and/or records readings of results.
• Labels tubes or containers applies labels to boxes cans pails etc. Operates label application equipment as required.
• Puts packaged product into boxes seals boxes by manually applying tape or operating a taping machine.
• Places filled cartridges or caps in a cryogenic medium as required.
• Accurately calculates number of tubes and/or material required for each order and performs basic calculations to ensure appropriate ratio of material available or required to complete work orders per instruction.
• Lifts filled boxes of components from stand; places boxes on pallets and/or stacks in assigned area.
• Perform 100% quality check on each tube filled during the button board process.
• Participates in 5S activities.
• Complies with Health Safety and Environmental requirements and procedures at all times. Performs other tasks as assigned.
• Must have at least one year of directly applicable experience and/or a combination of directly applicable education and/or experience preferred.
• Must be able to multitask and learn various manufacturing processes.
• Must be able to effectively read write and communicate in English.
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to effectively manipulate multiple hand tasks simultaneously with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to use and wear the appropriate PPE equipment with or without reasonable accommodation.
