Job Summary:

As an OnCall Data Center Technician you will be an integral part of our team providing essential support for data center operations on behalf of our clients. You will work on an oncall basis assisting with equipment storage staging hardware deliveries replacements and troubleshooting as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oncall availability to respond to equipment staging and delivery requests.
  
• Safely and securely store and stage IT hardware and equipment.
  
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of hardware to client sites.
  
• Perform hardware replacements and upgrades in data center environments.
  
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faulty equipment to minimize downtime.
  
• Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in data center operations.
  
• Keep detailed records of equipment movements issues and resolutions.
  
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective support.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Center Technician or in a similar role.
  
• Strong knowledge of data center equipment IT hardware and associated technologies.
  
• Ability to work on an oncall basis and respond to urgent requests.
  
• Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
  
• Familiarity with data center safety procedures and protocols.
  
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing work schedules.
  
• Physical fitness to handle equipment and perform tasks within data center environments.
