Job Description

Urgent opening for Sales Manager with leading manufacturing company

Location Chennai

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and resultsdriven Sales personal to join our team in the Construction. As a salesperson you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities maintaining existing client relationships and achieving sales targets for our product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and target potential clients in the construction and mining industry.
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Proactively seek out new business opportunities and customer leads.
  • Build and nurture longterm relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.

Product Knowledge:

  • Develop an indepth understanding of the companys product portfolio/offering.
  • Provide expert knowledge to clients on product specifications and benefits.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in drilling technology.

Technical Expertise:

  • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate drilling solutions based on project requirements.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients during the sales process.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to offer custom solutions when needed.

Sales Presentations:

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Clearly communicate the value proposition and advantages of companys product portfolio/offering
  • Address client inquiries and objections effectively.

Quoting and Proposals:

  • Prepare accurate and competitive price quotations and proposals for clients.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions to secure sales agreements.

Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of all sales activities including client interactions quotations and sales progress.
  • Provide regular sales reports to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience of 5 year & above in sales preferably in the construction and mining industry.
  • Strong technical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Resultsdriven with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • A valid drivers license.
