Summary:

• Develops subcontract specifications work statements and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials equipment and services for subcontracts in support of development production and global sustainment for multiple contract types.

• Prepares bid packages conducts bidders conferences develops evaluation criteria analyzes and evaluates proposals negotiates subcontract provisions selects or recommends subcontractors writes subcontract packages for review prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts.

• Negotiates and coordinates additions deletions or modifications to subcontracts.

• Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures.

• May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.

Required Skils:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education

• Experience in supply chain management procurement or purchasing

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint

• Experience with JDA/MTO drawings/technical data manufacturing processes tools root cause analysis process improvement techniques and cost analysis

• Experience working with and managing supplier relationships

• Experience with an Aeronautics product quality assurance and/or manufacturing process

• Maintain customer/supplier relationships

• Experience in finance cost/price analysis schedule analysis budgeting and negotiations

• Data Analysis experience

• Experience with Lean and continuous improvement tools

• Negotiation and technical experience related to product and supply chain
