Job Description
- Ability to develop and execute a detail nursing program strategic plan based upon on specific knowledge of higher education and nursing education programs.
- Strong project management skills and engaging subject matter experts and essential staff to ensure the strategic plan is executed against a clear operational plan with milestones deliverables and established KPIs.
- Establish clinical partnerships necessary for students to learn and demonstrate clinical competencies across the lifespan as defined by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and state boards of nursing among others.
- Work with key external agencies and partners including lobbyists attorneys professional nursing boards to meet ACEN accreditation standards with Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) requirements and/or other institutional and state accreditors and state boards of nursing nationally compliance targets as required.
- Navigate complex issues and constraints identifying potential barriers and solutions.
- Prepare reports plans updates and presentations necessary for ensuring effective communication of progress toward KPIs and critical success factors and
- Meet key milestones and the launch of a new program by January 2025.
- Extensive highlevel management experience managing large and complex projects that have major impact on a business/institution.
- Strong communication skills in working with constituencies of all backgrounds fields and disciplines from academic to regulatory legal consulting etc.
- Executive level strategic acumen that enables them to effectively lead the project and work well with all stakeholders and divergent perspectives in a way that ensures laser focus on the overall project goals and outcomes while ensuring attention to the details that are critical to achieving these deliverables and outcomes.
- Having general contracting skills that enable them to work with diverse skillsets in coordinating complex subprojects and tasks to ensure overall project success in terms of meeting deadlines key deliverables and overall project objectives.
- Experience working in academic leadership roles preferably specifically in nursing education.
- Having takecharge qualities in a manner that works positively collaboratively and productively with all stakeholders.
- Excellent team leader experienced in managing virtually and inperson teams of professionals from different business and academic areas of expertise.
