The date range in this req is an approximation since the successful resource has to have a compliant PATCH and also pass the PSDCrelated background check. This will be a temporary engagement consisting of around three months (at 40 hours per week). Since this will be a PSDC grant funded position PSDC cannot promise an extensionpast 3 months; however they may have some extra funding if needed.
PSDC seeks to add a resource to provide IT servicesrelated to their procurement and deployment of specific Vulnerability ScanningTools and Software.
The method of interview is virtual via Teams with the candidates participation with videoenabled.Years of relevant Experience:
7 to 8 years
Preferred education:
4year college degree or equivalent technical study.
Role Description:
Experience with vulnerability management
Experience with Tenable products including Tenable Security Center and Nessus
Experience with integrating Cybersecurity data using enterprise or custom data aggregation and analysis tools.
Responsible for responding to support escalations which involve troubleshooting complex technical problems and resolving data/configuration issues within defined service level objectives
1 years of experience with performing software assurance management or configuration with security tools
2 years of experience with performing systems administration in Windows including performing basic troubleshooting installation or configuration monitoring system performance or availability and performing security upgrades.
Manage participate in or directly work on any additional projects assignments or initiatives assigned by management
Responsible for management and monitoring of production systems in all environments
Scripting Working knowledge of computer programming language (preferred not required)
Networking Candidate should have a 2 to 3 years of expertise in working with diverse networks infrastructures and understanding how each of these elements can impact the security of an organization.
Operating Systems Candidate should have 2 years experience with working and identifying vulnerabilities impacts and remediation across all types of operating systems such as Windows using industry standard tools and platforms.
Delivers support and design for industry specific applications that require integration with statewide systems or applications.
Interacts with executive level business users or technical experts.
Ability to make swift decisions and takes initiative to achieve tasks and/or goals.
Is proactive in researching and applying industry best practices and shares knowledge with peers and/or stakeholders.
Effectively and timely communicates information to stakeholders and presents information professionally in multiple formats.
May functions as a niche SME.
