Title: Talent Acquisition Coordinator I (HYBRID)
Location: Durham (Research Triangle ParkRTP) NC
Duration: 12 Months
Able to work onsite in RTP at least 2 days per week

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator reporting to the Director Talent Attraction is responsible for supporting and improving the recruitment and onboarding processes to enhance the candidate and new hire experience. This position will coordinate intake meetings interviews debrief meetings and new employee orientations. Additionally the TA Coordinator serves as a brand ambassador on LinkedIn and at local university events to continue to build the clients US employer brand. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail a continuous improvement mindset an understanding of the current talent market and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with recruiters interviewers and candidates to schedule position intake meetings interviews and debrief meetings using Workday
  • Manage Client Recruiting and Client Onboarding email accounts responding to rescheduled notices candidate/new hire questions and external vendor inquiries
  • Coordinate and facilitate New Employee Orientations provide insights and suggestions for continuous improvement of the employee onboarding experience
  • Track completion of reference checks and background checks of candidates follow up with candidates for additional information that may be needed to move processes forward efficiently
  • Manage onboarding process including requests for onboarding documents from candidates and I9 verifications for new hires
  • Support the Director of TA with running reports and tracking recruiting and retention metrics as needed
  • Analyze feedback from candidate experience and quality of hire surveys and present themes including opportunities for improvement to the Talent Acquisition Team
  • Consult with Recruiters on biweekly hot jobs postings to Linkedin partnering with the Internal Communications team for postings
  • Support University Relations efforts including preparation and participation in career fairs informational sessions panel discussions and networking events to build a talent pipeline for early career programs (internships coops rotational programs job shadowing)
  • Coordinate Internship Programs including promotion scheduling for TA and arranging workshops and networking events for interns throughout their internship
  • Support HR Partners with Internal Recruiting initiatives as needed
  • Learn the clients mission vision values and the science to serve as a brand ambassador with a strong social media presence (LinkedIn)
  • Assist with projects supporting employer branding social media communications university partnerships to enhance candidate and new hire experience

About you:

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in business human resources or a related field
  • 2 years of professional experience as a Human Resources Assistant TA Coordinator or related role
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite including Word Outlook Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred:

  • Proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday a plus) Job Boards & Microsoft Office
  • Experience coordinating interviews or meetings with senior leaders and managing complex calendars
  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical biotech or related industry
  • Established a presence on professional social channels especially LinkedIn
  • Passion for people and desire to get involved in Employee Experience Teams Diversity Equity & Inclusion Council Employee Resource Groups or Employee Engagement Committee
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced everchanging environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to host presentations as needed
  • Outstanding customer service skills and followup
  • Positive cando attitude and solutiondriven mindset
  • Ability to work with and learn new technologies quickly
  • Focus on continuous improvement with a desire to develop new and improve existing processes
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality

MustHave Skills and Experience:

  • Candidates should have 13 years in a similar role.
  • Experience managing multiple calendars across various time zones.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Technology knowledge
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Onboarding and Orientation is preferred.
