Job Description

Overview:

The Mobile Expert plays a crucial role in our organization by providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise to support the sales and service of mobile devices. This position is essential in ensuring that customers receive expert guidance and support for their mobile technology needs resulting in a positive and seamless experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in selecting purchasing and activating mobile devices and accessories
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mobile devices and applications
  • Deliver personalized customer service to meet individual needs and preferences
  • Stay uptodate on the latest mobile technology trends and products
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance goals
  • Educate customers on mobile device features functionality and service plans
  • Handle customer inquiries issues and complaints with professionalism and efficiency
  • Process mobile device upgrades exchanges and returns
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Maintain a clean and wellorganized mobile device and accessory area
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and skills
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures including security and privacy guidelines
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
  • Support promotional activities and events to drive sales and customer engagement

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
  • Prior experience in retail sales or customer service
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mobile devices operating systems and applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of mobile service plans contracts and billing processes
  • Flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move devices and accessories
  • Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Positive attitude team player mentality and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Competency in using pointofsale systems and other retail software applications
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
  • Commitment to continuous learning and adapting to evolving technology trends
