We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional care and support to our patients. As a Health Care Assistant you will work closely with healthcare professionals to enhance patient experiences and contribute to the wellbeing of our community. Responsibilities
Transport patients to and from treatment units using wheelchairs or providing walking assistance.
Deliver and collect meal trays and feed patients requiring help with eating.
Provide patients with help walking exercising and moving in and out of bed.
Prepare and maintain records of client progress and services performed reporting changes in client condition to manager or supervisor.
Clean and sanitize patient areas change bed sheets and restock rooms with necessary supplies.
Engage with patients in a compassionate and respectful manner.
Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of patients is maintained.
Communicate with nurses to report on patient status and progress.
Assist with the collection of specimens such as urine feces or sputum.
Requirements
Basic understanding of patient care and medical terminology
Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature
Ability to follow health and safety guidelines at all times
Capable of performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting and supporting patients
Proficiency in maintaining accurate patient records and documenting care provided
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Flexibility to work various shifts including nights weekends and holidays
Ability to work well in a team and under supervision
Current and valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Commitment to confidentiality and ethical healthcare practices

Must be a U.S. Citizen Canadian Citizen Green Card Holder
Must be fluent in communication and English
Must have clear criminal charges
Must be at least 30wpm average
Must be 18 on average.....
