Role: Aircraft Maintenance Technician
Duration: 6 months contract to Hire
Location: East Alton Illinois
Job Description:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Aircraft Maintenance Technician/Mechanic.
- Must have Airframe & Powerplant License. Must share copy of A&P License or A&P License number.
- Must be available to work on ANY shift.
- Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
- Removal and installation of panels and components
- Troubleshooting and problem solving aircraft system/component issues
- Defueling aircraft
- Engine removal/installations
- Operating ground support equipment
- Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components
- Aircraft movement and assistance in performance runs/ taxiing
- Maintenance and repair of shop facility equipment and tooling
- Basic computer skills to be able to navigate electronic training manuals and maintenance data bases
- Any other jobrelated duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
